The story of José “Pepe” Blanco is one of heartbreak and familiar turmoil - an eternal love story dedicated to Sanlúcar de Barrameda - and one that is still being written. With the dissolution of his Father’s winery that was built in the early 2000’s and closed in 2023, Pepe’s radiant light was dimmed but not could not be quelled, and these wines are his second chance at leaving a small piece of his family’s powerful Sanluqueño legacy behind. La Luz Selections is very proud to represent his reincarnation - a gran phoenix who rose from the albariza.
